For many years, we have specialized in the field of photomedicine. This includes the science of photobiomodulation (the modern term for laser therapy) and related topics such as laser acupuncture and laser field therapy, which are the result of special therapeutic applications of this basic biological mechanism.
It is our aim to communicate the approaches of photobiomodulation as safe and effective techniques for therapists and to distinguish between scientific consensus and empirical medicine in this young medical discipline. We work closely with leading researchers and users of photobiomodulation in human, dental and veterinary medicine and the College for Laser Phototherapy and its network.
Our authors update their recommendations in the login area for therapists according to the latest scientific findings and especially according to the consensus declarations of WALT, which are authoritative for photomedicine.
